Broad Aims of the Communications Working Committee
1. To disseminate IDEA's aims, vision, living history and current projects to deepen its authority;
2. To 'publish' (in the broadest sense of the word!) IDEA's good practice and diverse pedagogical proposals;
3. To build a continuous, dynamic dialogue between IDEA's national and individual members throughout the world to stimulate solidarity, motivation, the exchange of experience, and project collaboration;
4. To develop quality translation to ensure cultural equity between IDEA's official languages, based on a respect for cultural difference;

Specific Aims of the CWC
1. To prepare publicity materials and pedagogical products for all relevant conferences;
2. To communicate with individual participants from past IDEA congresses and to proactively network with drama/theatre education practitioners, projects and organisations outside IDEA;
3. To use print and digital media to preserve IDEA's memory and to stimulate pedagogical evaluation, innovation and 'formation';
4. To gradually extend IDEA's official languages to include a major language from Africa and Asia;

The CWC is looking for members from the Indian continent, Russia and the Nordic Countries to complete its team. If you are interested, please contact Catherine Kariuki immediately.
