Roles of IDEA Director of Projects:
1.To link potential Project partners/collaborators inside each region and inter-regionally.
2.To recognize IDEA Projects in Development, according to defined criteria and in consultation with PWC, by granting the IDEA LOGO.
3.To recognize IDEA Project Case Studies, according to defined criteria of evaluation and in consultation with PWC, by determining if and where a project enters the IDEA Case Study Library.
4.2008 main focus : to build a Projects Forum inside our IDEA - Dramatool Website, with a Projects Director BLOG, an e-library of Past Projects and an e-library of IDEA Case Studies.
5.2009-2010 main focus : to link intra-regional and inter-regional Projects with IDEA World Congress in Belém, July 2010.

Aims of the PWC
1. To support the Director of Projects fulfill his constitutional responsibilities;
2. To network with IDEA members;
3. To support IDEA members to find resources and funding;
4. To guarantee regional balance within IDEA;
5. To become informed about existing projects in specific region;
6. To stimulate IDEA members in regions where there are no projects;
7. To explore project possibilities which emerge from IDEA’s Special Interest Groups during IDEA World Congresses;
8. To accompany, evaluate and publicize accepted IDEA projects;
9. To consistently clarify what is and is not an IDEA project.
Criteria for selecting the PWC members
PWC activists should:
1. Possess experience and knowledge about how to initiate, accompany and evaluate projects using different angles of approach:
- worldwide intercultural development policy
- budgetary balance and coherence
- artistic excellence
2. Are sensitive, flexible, aware and able to incorporate new elements during the process of the project;
3. Are able to interact with regional IDEA members in a supportive and stimulating way;
4. Have access to internet;
5. Advise and stimulate IDEA members, to enable their empowerment;
6. Do not hold another post in IDEA.
