If two referees are not available, the Director of Projects will accept two recent Project Reports which confirm that the person, group or association making the Project Proposal will be meet the level of project preparation, production, aesthetic/pedagogic outcomes, accounting, and evaluation to satisify IDEA’s criteria and standards.

5. Commit to preparing a report -- within two months after the conclusion of the project -- on the development and outcomes of the project in relation to its original aims and objectives, and how the outcomes of the project have effected his/her local community (and/or region/country). The report should also contain recommendations on how the field of drama/theatre and education can be further promoted and developed in his/her region/country. If such a report is not sent, either by mail or by posting to the Director of Solidarity, the applicant will not be eligible for further support from IDEA in the future.
6. Identify one IDEA elected officer, member of the Projects Working Committee or Regional Lisaison Officer to visit and accompany the project.
Please see the chart which explains the Process of Evaluating Project Proposals to understand how your application is being studied.
In the final selection of projects, the following criteria will apply:

2. Equal distribution of projects from the different regions of the world. Equal numbers of men and women represented overall by IDEA’s projects.
3. Priority for regions where IDEA is not represented.
4. Validation of the propronent’s organisational and financial stability.
5. Availability and commitment of one IDEA elected officer, member of the Projects Working Committee or Regional Lisaison Officer to visit and accompany the project.
References from current IDEA members who know the proponent will be considered, but the final selection rests with the Projects Working Committee.
