IDEA's grassroots' advisers
IDEA has five working committees whose members are pro-actively contributing to the development of IDEA's inclusive, decentralised, transparent, dialogic, democratic, accountable, creative, effective and professional organisational culture. These committees include:

All these working committees aspire to having at least 12 members to represent the following ten regions and two areas:

East and South Africa
Northern, Central and Western Africa
Northern and Western Europe
Central and Eastern Europe
Southern Europe
Central Asia
South East Asia
Asia-Pacific (Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands)
Middle East and Arab countries
Community Theatre and Drama Pedagogy Practitioners
Applied Arts Practitioners and Artistic Directors
Our hope is that these working committees will provide the next generations of elected IDEA leaders and generate new internationally-respected drama/theatre and education practitioners. Every year, each IDEA Director reviews the development of his/her working committee, confirms its gender and geographical representation, and welcomes new members to replace those who need to move on. However, between these reviews, vacancies arise, so if you are interested now in becoming a member in one of these committees, please contact the relevant Director immediately.
