The Applied Theatre Researcher

At the present time, the official journal of IDEA is The Applied Theatre Researcher, an online publication managed by Griffith University now in its sixth year. The Applied Theatre Researcher is the worldwide e-journal for theatre and drama in non-traditional contexts, theatre in the community, theatre in business and industry, theatre in political debate and action, theatre in lifelong education and learning.

The Applied Theatre Researcher/IDEA Journal is a refereed journal with an international advisory board. Though primarily an English-language journal, papers are also accepted for publication in French and Spanish, the other two official IDEA languages. The Applied Theatre Researcher/IDEA Journal is normally published once a year.
