Criteria and expectations for Working Committee members
General Criteria for IDEA working committee members
Each working committee has specific criteria which you can find in the relevant section of this site. All working committees members to be:
1. Practising the three principle aims of IDEA:
to demonstrate and advocate drama/theatre education through its IDEA projects.
to promote dialogue and research around drama/theatre education methods.
to support the use of drama/theatre education to achieve human rights and world peace.
2. Able to speak and write one of IDEA's three official languages (english, french, spanish);
3. Able to access the internet at least once a week for regular e-communication;
4. A paid-up member of IDEA.
General Expectations of IDEA working committee members
1. To carry out agreed responsibilities according to agreed deadlines;
2. To evaluate motivations, expectations and contributions as a member of the working committee team;
3. To respect and practice agreed forms and rhythms of communication and decision-making;
4. To participate in agreed e-debates with other working committee members and Director;
5. To participate in at least one live IDEA General Council meeting every two years.
